Happy New Year! H.S.O.D is expecting a very exciting year in 2012 as we celebrate our 21st Birthday. HSOD has a new email address: hawthornstudioofdance@bigpond.com & mobile phone no. 0499 143 100	Open Weeks Monday, 26th – Saturday, 31st March. Monday, 25th – Saturday, 30th June. Monday, 17th – Saturday, 23rd Sept Monday, 3rd – Saturday, 8th December.	Choreographic Workshop Due to the popularity of this event a new format is being delivered. Enrollment forms will be available in February, auditions will be held in June and the performance date is Saturday, 28th July, 2012.
Term Dates Term One: Monday, 30th January – Saturday, 31st March. Term Two: Monday, 16th April – Saturday, 30th June. Term Three: Monday, 16th July – Saturday, 22nd September. Term Four: Monday, 8th October – Saturday, 8th December. Bloch’s Discount week commences Monday, 5th to Sunday, 11th March. A signed discount voucher can be picked up from reception.		Annual Concerts Baby Toes Concert Saturday, 28th July. Mid Year Concert Saturday, 28th July. Annual Concert Friday, 14th December. Studio Rehearsals Sunday, 18th – 25th November. Theatre Rehearsals Wednesday, 12th December. All performances are held at the Besen Centre, 87-89 Station St., Burwood.
Students have many opportunities throughout the year to perform at Dance Competitions and fundraising events such as the Dance Cancer Initiative.	Royal Academy of Dance Examinations will be on offer late July or early August. Entries close on Saturday, 24th March, 2012.	Theatrical Dancing Examination: Sunday, 17th June, 2012. Closing date: Saturday, 24th March, 2012.
